I would greatly appreciate your help (and that of your website visitors) in identifying the shell in the above photo.

The collector who found this bivalve says he is 99% certain it came from China Beach (or someplace nearby) in Vietnam--but he travels widely and it is possible it got mixed up with the wrong set of shells.
