Mystery Fossil

Data: measures approximately 14" long, 10" wide and 6" thick. I found it in middle Tennessee about 40 miles south of Nashville. Any help in figuring out what it is would be much appreciated. Gary

  • Some of the pictures suggest that there is internal structure in the cylindrical parts. It might be a coral (rugosan or tabulate), but the resolution isn't quite high enough to tell. ... Dr. David C.
