I'm looking for confirmation of the id and the current name for Buccinum plicatum Martyn, 1784, illustration 44 in Martyn's Universal Conchologist (1784).
It is from the South Pacific, not sure of the collection location...collected by several officers of the ships under the command of Captains Byron, Wallace (Wallis), Cook and others...
